Ms. Male brings greater than 25 years of experience in the worlds of allied medicine, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology on both the client and supplier sides.  Since 1984 Ms. Male has been driving revenue in pharmaceutical and biotech companies through sales, management, product management, business development, training, and performance improvement consulting

In management positions, Ms. Male managed a staff of 12 direct reports, managed multi-million dollar budgets, created and oversaw 6 phases of training and developed 14 subordinates for sales, marketing, and training management positions.

In product management, Ms. Male held primary responsibility for the successful commercialization and revenue generation of all core product lines.  She personally held primary responsibility for 3 drug launches; 2 pre-filled drug delivery devices and a biological drug.  She also personally accountable for successful rationalization of 2 full product lines and management of 2 recalls. 

In 1989 Ms. Male devised and spearheaded performance management initiatives and training programs directly acknowledged for exceeding revenue goals.  The performance management programs were subsequently adopted as the international benchmark for specialty pharma success in greater than 30 countries. 

Since 1997 Ms. Male has served as President of Emp-Higher Performance, specializing in training, performance consulting, and keynote speaking/speaker services.  To date, the company has developed a training content powerhouse of >30 training courses. 

Ms. Male’s expertise is acknowledged in interviews and articles in global sales and industry journals including Pharmaceutical Executive, Selling Power Magazine (journal, online, and audio programs), Pharmaceutical Representative, PharmaVoice, MedAd News, and others.  Ms. Male has recently been appointed as a board member and columnist to “Specialty Pharma” magazine.

Jean (Mowrey) Male is a past President of the Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers (SPBT), holds ‘professional’ designation in the National Speakers Association, and committee chair of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA).
